You can hold your ceremony here on its own, or as part of a full day that continues into a reception. Either works.
Ceremony Spaces
The Large Hall
Our largest ceremony space, seating up to 150 guests for a ceremony. The room can be reconfigured for a reception and evening celebration to accommodate up to 200 guests, depending on format.
The Assembly Room
A beautiful room for ceremonies of up to 40 guests.
The Tippling Room
An intimate space for up to 20 guests, well suited to smaller, more personal ceremonies.
The Gardens
Available for outdoor ceremonies, weather permitting. An indoor space must always be hired alongside the gardens.
How it works
1. Enquire – Submit your enquiry online via our form.
2. Chat – We’ll get in touch to discuss your plans.
3. Quote – Receive a provisional booking and tailored quote (held for 1 week).
4. Registrar – Book the registrar through Wakefield Council.
5. Book – Confirm the finalised date with us. We will send you a booking confirmation.
6. Deposit – Pay your 25% deposit within two days of receiving the invoice to secure the date.
7. Plan – Check-ins at 8 weeks and 4 weeks to finalise details.
8. Final Touch – A quick check-in the week before your event.
A note on the day itself
We don’t provide a master of ceremonies or on-the-day coordinator. If you’re hosting a full day here, you will want to think about how the flow of the day is managed, whether that’s a supplier you bring in, a trusted friend, or something you coordinate yourselves.
