Yes, though exclusive use of the gardens is not available. The Grange’s outdoor space is open to the public as part of our Drawing Room bar. If you are hiring an indoor room, we can section off an area of the garden for your use at no extra charge. Please mention this in your enquiry and we will discuss what is possible. Please note, we do not have power available in the garden.
Free on-site parking is available.
The Grange has step-free entrance routes to the Large Hall, with an accessible toilet. Other rooms are accessible via a short internal staircase. Please get in touch if you have specific requirements and we will do our best to help.
Yes. The Large Hall includes a fully staffed, private bar. If you book the Assembly Room, you have access to the public Drawing Room bar during your event. We stock a range of beers, wines, spirits and soft drinks, including local ales from Kirkstall Brewery. All drinks must be purchased through our bar, no alcohol may be brought onto the premises.
Pricing
Pricing is per room, per hour. We offer different rates for private bookings, businesses and charities. Full rates are on our Spaces & Pricing page.
Planning Your Event
You are welcome to bring your own catering or use external caterers; however, kitchen facilities are not available and all catering must be fully self-contained and prepared off-site. Hirers are fully responsible for food safety, hygiene and allergen management.
Yes, you are welcome to bring decorations or use an external provider to decorate for you. All decorations and temporary installations must be approved in advance and removed at the end of your hire.
Yes. The Large Hall has a stage which is perfect for bands and performances. Please note, all entertainers must hold a minimum of £5 million public liability insurance and amplified music must finish by 11pm to respect our local community. We have BBC-standard PA equipment on site. If a DJ, band or singer wants to use our PA, this must be approved by our sound technician first, who will advise whether a technician is required on the day. Additional fees apply where one is needed.
We no longer permit for bouncy castles to be brought on-site. The Grange works well for celebrations with music, dancing and live entertainment. We are happy to recommend a children’s entertainer if that would be helpful.
