Your ticket includes:
- Access to around 50 ales from independent Yorkshire brewers, served from our purpose-built real ale bar
- A free Pontefract Festival of Beer glass
- Complimentary locally sourced cheeses
- Live music in every session
Sessions
Friday Evening | 20th March | 6pm–11pm | Adults Only
Friday evening opens the story. A contemporary set shaped by modern songwriting and performance, tracing where the blues sits today and how its rhythm and structure continue to influence new work. Live music from: Slim Wilson and The Swamp Brothers
Saturday Daytime | 21st March | 12–5pm | Families Welcome*
Saturday early doors shifts the tone. An afternoon Gypsy Jazz session rooted in European acoustic swing. Guitar led, conversational, and rhythm driven, offering a lighter entry into the weekend before the evening builds. Live music from: Danny Lowndes’ Hotclub
Saturday Evening | 21st March | 6pm–11pm | Adults Only
Saturday evening moves deeper into the lineage. Southern and country blues traditions take centre stage, with a set built around live performance, songcraft and the raw structure that carried the music from its early American roots into the present day. Live music from: Slim Wilson and The Swamp Brothers
Sunday Daytime | 22nd March | 12-6pm | Families Welcome*
Sunday afternoon concludes the festival with a slower-paced blues session. The music provides a relaxed ending to the weekend, allowing attendees to enjoy the atmosphere and performances. Live music from: Slim Wilson and The Swamp Brothers
