A PLACE FOR EVERYONE ACCESS TO ALL THE GRANGE
The Grange Nursery is a welcoming and nurturing early years setting based at Carleton Grange, offering full day care and education for young children within a familiar and well established community environment.

Operated by Carleton Grange Nursery Limited, the nursery provides a safe, supportive and engaging place for children from two to five years of age. It is a space where children are encouraged to grow in confidence, develop independence and begin their learning journey at their own pace.

A dedicated team of qualified childcare professionals support each child’s development through play, creativity and thoughtfully planned experiences aligned with the Early Years Foundation Stage. Learning takes place across both indoor and outdoor settings, helping children to explore, socialise and build positive relationships with others.

As part of the wider life of Carleton Grange, the nursery values strong partnerships with families and works closely with parents and carers to ensure each child receives attentive, personalised care. The Grange Nursery is inspected by Ofsted and is currently graded Good, reflecting its commitment to high quality early years provision. The nursery also works closely with Wakefield Council’s Early Years Team to support the delivery of quality childcare and education.

Eligible children are entitled to 15 or 30 funded hours, helping families to access early years provision in line with current government funding arrangements. Further details on eligibility can be discussed directly with the nursery team.
