u3a
u3a comes to The Grange
u3a is a UK wide network for people who want to stay curious, connected and active, bringing people together around shared interests and a love of learning.
Groups cover arts, languages, history, walking, music and art among others. Each group is set up and led by members themselves, meeting weekly, fortnightly or monthly depending on the activity.
u3a is now bringing that same model to Pontefract, launching a new group programme here at The Grange. The plan is to build it around the interest of local people, shaped by the people who take part. It will evolve over time, reflecting the interests of the community.
