Carleton Entertainment Group is the brainchild of local man David Osborne. Most people know him simply as Dave. A familiar face, a lifelong music lover, and someone who understands how a good evening is really built. Not fuss. Not flash. Just the right things, done well.
Through Carleton Entertainment Group, Dave will present a small run of seasonal, ticketed events at The Grange. Four across the year spring, summer, autumn and winter, with the winter event taking place ahead of Christmas. Alongside these sits a New Year’s Eve special, forming part of the wider, multi layered New Year’s Eve celebrations across the building.
Each event is shaped around Dave’s own musical tastes, with live music played in session rather than from a distant stage. Expect the spirit of bands like Fleetwood Mac, alongside other artists from the same musical family thoughtful, melodic, well loved music that people recognise and settle into. Music that belongs in the room.
Food is part of the experience too. Seasonal buffets shaped to the time of year, always with a Yorkshire twist. Proper, generous food designed to be shared, enjoyed, and talked over.
Dave also intends for each event to be connected to a chosen charity. This may change from event to event, allowing different causes to be supported across the year. Details of the charity partnership for each evening will be made clear in advance.

This event is designed to complement the broader programme rather than stand apart from it. People may choose to spend their whole evening here, or move through the building as the night unfolds. However the night is taken, it remains part of one shared celebration.

David Osborne, known to most people simply as Dave, is a local man with a lifelong love of music and a natural knack for bringing people together.
