What we can host
The Grange is well suited to a wide range of occasions. Below are some examples, along with the spaces that work best for each.
Private celebrations: Birthdays, anniversaries, engagement parties, baby showers and family gatherings. The Large Hall suits larger parties with dancing and live music. The Small Ballroom works well for smaller celebrations, with direct access to the gardens.
Corporate and business events: Meetings, conferences, training days, away days, presentations and awards evenings. The Large Hall and Small Ballroom include a screen and projector, with the Large Hall also having a stage and AV. The Blue Room is perfect as a meeting room space. There’s WIFI throughout the building too.
Charity and community events: Fundraising nights, charity dinners, awards ceremonies, AGMs and community gatherings. All rooms are available at our charity rate for registered charities and not-for-profit organisations.
Club and group events: Sports club presentation nights, society dinners, committee events and seasonal celebrations. The Grange is open to all groups and organisations.
Performances: The Large Hall has a full stage, BBC-standard PA and capacity of 200, making it well suited to live music, comedy nights, theatrical performances and ticketed events.
